The latest addition to Audi’s increasing electric vehicle lineup, the Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron, is now available. This coupe-inspired SUV had its global debut at the 2024 Paris Motor Show.

The Q6 Sportback e-tron’s revised roofline distinguishes it from its more traditional sister, the Audi Q6 e-tron. This adjustment improves aerodynamics, resulting in a longer driving range. The Q6 Sportback e-tron’s top-tier version has an outstanding WLTP-estimated range of more over 400 miles.

The Sportback model has a range of powertrain options. The base model has a single motor driving the rear wheels, but those looking for additional performance can choose the dual-motor, all-wheel drive Quattro models. The top-of-the-line SQ6 has a dual-motor system that generates 489 horsepower and a 0-62 mph time of just 4.3 seconds.

Charging the Q6 Sportback e-tron is simple thanks to its 800V electrical architecture. With DC rapid charging capabilities of up to 270 kW, topping up the battery from 10% to 80% can be completed in as little as 22 minutes under optimum conditions. Audi also says that the Q6 Sportback e-tron Performance can get 165 miles of range in just 10 minutes with a fast charger.

The inside of the Q6 Sportback e-tron has an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit display and a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen powered by Android Automotive OS. Optional features include a 10.9-inch passenger display and an augmented reality head-up display.

The Q6 Sportback e-tron has 18 ft³ of cargo space behind the rear seats, which expands to 48.4 ft³ with the rear seats folded. A boot or frunk adds 2.19 ft³ of storage, just enough to keep charging cords organized.

The Q6 Sportback e-tron is slated to arrive on sale in Europe later this year, starting at $73,100. The highest-end SQ6 Sportback e-tron starts at $106,700. US purchasers will have to wait a little longer, as the Q6 Sportback e-tron is slated to arrive in the spring or summer of 2025.
