BYD has announced two new models in Vietnam, BYD Han and M6 raising its total number of offers to five.
On October 18, the Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer unveiled the all-electric Han EV sedan and the M6 electric MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) in Vietnam, according to a press release issued today.

The Han EV starts at VND 1,489,000,000 ($58,930), while the M6 MPV starts at VND 756,000,000 in Vietnam.
The Han, the BYD brand’s flagship sedan, was introduced in July 2020 and has had multiple significant upgrades over the last four years.
The 2025 Han, which is presently sold in China, debuted on September 9 and is available in battery electric vehicle (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) varieties.
The Han EV starts at RMB 179,800 ($25,280) in China, while the hybrid variant starts at RMB 165,800.
BYD presently does not sell the M6 in its home market of China. The M6’s gasoline version, which was introduced in July 2010 as the company’s first MPV model, has since been withdrawn.
On July 21, BYD launched an all-electric version of the M6 in Indonesia, becoming the country’s first all-electric MPV. On September 9, BYD unveiled the M6 MPV in Thailand.
