Fiat Grande Panda is available in Netherlands and France

Fiat launched the cheap Grande Panda EV in June and is currently available in the Netherlands and France, with plans to expand to more regions in the future. Grande Panda’s adventure begins in those two markets, giving clients the opportunity to take advantage of local government incentives.

The city-friendly vehicle is available in two variants: Grande Panda RED and Grande Panda La Prima. The latter is the highest-end setup. As promised, the starting price is just below €25,000. Local government incentives make the car even more inexpensive.

The electric Grande Panda, powered by a 44kWh battery and 83-kW e-motor (113 HP), has a range of 320 km in the WLTP combined cycle, making it ideal for city driving and weekend excursions. The Grande Panda has a top speed of 132 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in 4.2 seconds (0 to 100 km/h in 11 seconds), with an energy consumption of 174 Wh/km (17.4 kWh/100 km).

The Grande Panda may be charged both at home and on the road. The new worldwide model includes an inbuilt retractable AC wire up to 7kW, which takes 3 hours and 43 minutes (from 20% to 80%); alternatively, an AC cable up to 11 kW takes 2 hours and 55 minutes. And a DC one at 100kW that takes only 33 minutes.
