The Genesis GV60 was announced in 2021 as the first EV from the brand. It’s based on the same E-GMP engine as the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Kia EV6. It looks like it might need a little more work now. At least that’s what Genesis seems to be thinking, because a new Genesis GV60 update has been seen in Korea.
While Jacky Ickx was being introduced as the new Genesis brand ambassador, the new model was just hanging out in the background of a movie. Here is the picture that matters:
The current Genesis GV60 has a different air intake/bottom grille, and the headlights look like they’ve been touched up a bit too. But the biggest change might be that there is no triangle above the license plate. To give you an idea, here is the current GB60:
Overall, the facelift looks more lively than the one that came before it because it has a few more angles and the curves are tighter. Still, the changes aren’t that big; this will still be easy to spot as a Genesis, and especially as a GV60. We can’t wait to hear what changes may happen on the inside with these cosmetic ones.
