Genesis’ best-selling model in North America, the Electrified GV70, will receive a significant facelift for the 2026 model year. The luxury electric SUV has been refreshed, with new features and a more streamlined interior.
One of the more noticeable modifications is the revamped front end, which includes a new G-Matrix Grille and a charging port conveniently situated within it. The Electrified GV70 now includes a NACS connector, which allows access to Tesla’s Supercharger Network. The SUV has the iconic Genesis two-line headlights, enhanced with microlens array (MLA) technology for improved vision in low-light circumstances.
The interior of the 2026 Electrified GV70 is where the enhancements really shine. A large 27-inch OLED display dominates the dashboard, acting as both a driver information center and an infotainment system. The EV version differs from the gas-powered version by adding ambient lighting and a marble-like pattern to the door panels. Rear passengers benefit from ambient lighting and what looks to be a climate control touchscreen.
Details like as suede seats with white stitching and white seat belts add to the sumptuous atmosphere. The entire impression is one of elegance, with Genesis’ signature clean and beautiful look. The 2026 version also boasts better speech recognition, letting drivers to operate numerous functions like as windows and HVAC settings.
The redesigned SUV will include a larger 84 kWh battery, up from 77.4 kWh in the previous model. While official range data have not yet been released, this update should result in a minor gain in driving range.
