Deliveries of Tesla’s refreshed Model Y have already commenced, and an intriguing detail has been unveiled through an MIIT filing in China. The MIIT catalog includes two entries for the Model Y, which can be differentiated by their model numbers: TSL6480BEVAR3 and TSL6480BEVAR4. Although their visuals and model numbers may differ, the provided specifications for both are identical.
Potential buyers have the option to equip their Model Y with radar and choose to include front fog lights. One of the most significant differences here is the addition of radar technology. Previously, the company heavily relied on cameras for its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). However, there was a subsequent issue where radar modules were removed from customers’ cars.
