An event that looks straight out of science fiction just became reality. The first-ever flying cars race took place in Texas!

The event, called the “Formula One of the skies”, was held at the UP.Summit in Texas.

4 Jetson One eVTOLs raced at speeds of 102 km/h, performing sharp turns and daring maneuvers.

It also marked the first-ever four-person flying formation, proving how stable these flying cars can be.

The Jetson One features a carbon and aluminum frame, 8 rotors, and can fly 20 minutes at 457 meters altitude.

Even if one rotor fails, it can keep flying — plus, it comes with a ballistic parachute for emergencies.

Price: $128,000 (rising to $148,000 soon). No pilot’s license needed in the US!

Jetson’s motto: “Everyone is a pilot.” Making flying cars accessible for all.

The first Jetson One was delivered to Palmer Luckey, founder of Oculus VR. Over 550 orders have been placed!
