The Grande Panda EV’s 44 kWh battery pack offers 199 miles of range on the WLTP combined cycle. The 83 kW (113 hp) electric motor provides adequate performance for city driving. The top speed of 82 mph is sufficient for most urban and suburban driving conditions.
DC recharging at up to 100 kW is supported, allowing the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in 27 minutes. Buyers can pick between a rear-only 11 kW charging port and a unique integrated, retractable 7 kW charging cable in the front. This ingenious solution eliminates the need for a second wire, making the charging procedure considerably cleaner and more convenient.
The Grande Panda is a sleek and practical automobile ideal for city living. It’s small enough to fit through traffic, but large enough to comfortably seat five persons. The inside has a 10-inch digital cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display, and a wireless phone charger.
Fiat is producing two special editions of the Grande Panda: the La Prima and the (Grande Panda) Red. The La Prima is the top-of-the-line model, featuring 17-inch alloy wheels, higher-quality materials, and a unique “BAMBOX Bamboo Fiber Tex” dashboard wrap. The (Grande Panda)RED features 16-inch white steel wheels, a “RED” insignia on the B-pillar, and a percentage of the earnings from each sale goes to the (RED) organization, which fights AIDS.
