2025 Genesis GV60 coming with external redesign

The Genesis GV60, the brand’s first electric SUV, will get a 2025 update. The upgrade adds a sportier look, a few fresh touches to the interior, and an increase in range.

Genesis has updated the GV60’s appearance with a more muscular front bumper. The distinctive split headlights now feature “Micro Lens Array” technology adopted from the premium G90 sedan, which promises improved performance and precise light control. The GV60’s elegant stance is further enhanced by body-colored side skirts and wheel arch cladding, which give it a lower, more grounded appearance. A set of new 21-inch five-spoke alloy wheels rounds up the outward change.

Instead of the previous model’s two 12.3-inch displays, the GV60’s interior features a 27-inch wide touchscreen. A redesigned three-spoke steering wheel gives a hint of sportiness to the cabin, but the iconic crystal-ball gear selector remains a highlight.

Genesis has not revealed technical specs, but the GV60 is expected to have a larger battery pack. This modification might potentially increase the GV60’s range to approximately 360 miles, a significant improvement over its current 321 miles.

The revised Genesis GV60 is set to hit the market later this year, with a high-performance “Magma” edition also in the works.
