Android Authority dug into the new version of Android Auto, version 13.5.150204, and discovered various signs that Google is also planning to allow motorcyclists.
Android Auto is now only available on select car brands, but this is expected to change. The word “car(s)” has been replaced with “vehicle(s)” in Android Auto’s settings, but in addition to that subtle suggestion, they discovered an in-app icon for the Indian firm TVS motors. This brand focuses in producing motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds. Other new icons have appeared, including Lucid, Geely, and Leap Motor.
The source also implies that higher-resolution screens, such as 2560 x 1440p and 3840 x 2160p, will be supported. Currently, Android Auto only supports 1920 x 1080 screens.
There are hints of Gemini as well. It appears that Google is finally preparing to integrate its AI helper Gemini into Android Auto.
