Audi Q6 e-tron offroad concept features

The Q6 e-tron offroad concept has two electric motors with a combined capacity of 380 kW and can climb gradients of up to 100%. The new portal axles can enhance torque at the wheels by 50%, which is a significant improvement over the 20-30% increase seen in conventional portal axles. Although the top speed is limited to 109 mph, it is sufficient for offroad driving.

The four portal axles in question are integrated into the wheel hub, necessitating a revision to the suspension links. The axles raise the aggregate torque to 13,400 Nm, representing a 4,400 Nm gain. The concept provides a 6.3-inch clearance and 9.8-inch track width.

Audi thinks this concept will become a reality, and it will even demonstrate its capabilities on February 1 at the F.A.T. Ice Race.
