Opel Official Website reveals the Opel Zafira Electric unveiled its first completely electric minivan Opel Zafira Electric in December 2023 and is already taking orders at a far lower price than expected. All available trims are around $16,100 less than what Opel stated back in December.
Opel Zafira Electric Specs
The Opel Zafira Electric is based on the EMP2 platform and comes in two battery sizes: 50 kWh and 75 kWh. Both models include a front-mounted 136 horsepower electric motor. The WLTP range for the 50 kWh type is unknown, while the 75 kWh model is reported to have 216 miles of range.

While the Opel Zafira review of the Electric model was first introduced in S, M, and L trim levels, Opel has now decided for M and XL models. The standard M model with a 50 kWh battery is now $51,020, down from $67,870, while the XL with the tiny battery was originally $68,757 but is now $58,530. The Zafira Electric XL 75 kWh’s most expensive GS trim level costs $66,600. To accomplish the price drop, Opel adopted cost-cutting strategies. For example, the basic Edition edition no longer has leather seats, and front seat electronic adjustment is no longer standard equipment. Only the GS trim features second-row seats that can be moved. 
The basic package also eliminates the motorized sliding doors, necessitating manual operation instead. The base model now has 17″ steel wheels, while the GS variant comes with aluminum wheels as standard. The integrated sat nav and rearview camera are only available on the GS model level.
