Alfa Romeo Milano Launches with up to 240 HP & 54 kWh battery

The Milano, Alfa Romeo‘s first electric vehicle, was officially released today. It was named after the city where the company was formed in 1910 to represent its return to electric power. Alfa calls its new car “the sportiest and most exciting small car to drive in the whole class.” There are more than 600,000 charging points built into the navigation system, and you’ll also get a wall box charger for your home if you buy one.

There will be two types of drivetrains: one with 156 hp and the other with up to 240 hp. It is said that the first version can go up to 255 miles. Both batteries can hold 54 kWh of power, and they can be charged quickly with up to 100 kW DC (it takes 30 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%). Up to 11 kW of AC charging is possible.

Alfa Romeo Milano Specs

Alfa Romeo says that the “balance of proportions, purity of lines, and attention to the quality of surfaces” show in the car’s design. The car is 4,170 mm long, 1,780 mm wide, and 1,500 mm tall.

They say that the “legendary shield,” the “bold look” of the front with “3+3 and adaptive Full LED Matrix headlights,” and the “rich and harmonious reflections” made by “volumetric contrasts” give the Milano its “strong identity.” The trunk can hold 400 l.

“Italian attention to every detail” and “use of the finest materials” are said to be present on the inside, and all the controls are placed so that the driver can easily reach them. The “compact” steering wheel is another sign of this. It has a “historical ‘telescope’ design” that “makes you want to wrap your hands around the steering wheel” and “enjoy a one-of-a-kind driving experience.”

There is a 10.25-inch TFT screen in the middle of the center and another 10.25-inch multimedia touchscreen in the middle of the dashboard. Both of these screens will work with drag-and-drop apps that can be set up however the user wants. The four-leaf clover, which is “the symbol par excellence of Alfa Romeo sportiness,” is used to shape the air vents.
