Volkswagen EVs will have access to Tesla's Superchargers in US this summer.

Volkswagen has just revealed that its EVs would have access to Tesla’s Supercharger network in the United States beginning in June or July.

Tesla’s network is now accessible to EVs from Ford, Rivian, GM, Volvo, Polestar, and Nissan. Mercedes will be the next brand to join. Next, VW.

Mark Gillies, director of public relations at VW Group of America, confirmed to PC Mag that NACS adapters will be available for customers in June-July.

Volkswagen is currently sourcing and approving suppliers for its adapters. These will be required to access Tesla’s Superchargers. Volkswagen has yet to announce pricing for the adapters. Beginning with 2026 models, VWs sold in the United States will include a NACS port.

VW presently sells two EVs in the US: the ID.4 and ID. Buzz. ID.7 is expected to arrive this year and join them.
