Voyah Zhiyin launched As a global electric SUV With impressive range Voyah Zhiyin launched from the luxury division of Chinese state-owned Dongfeng Motor Corporation, Voyah, a rising star in the electric vehicle market. Designed as the brand’s first “world car,” the Zhiyin is a fully electric SUV built on Dongfeng’s Electric Smart Secure Architecture (ESSA) and promises to deliver a substantial range of up to 560 miles.

Voyah Zhiyin battery and range

The Voyah Zhiyin is available in both single and twin-motor variants. The rear-wheel-drive variants come with 215 kW or 230 kW electric motors, teamed with a 77 kWh battery for a 388-mile range or a 109 kWh battery for a headline-grabbing 560 miles. The dual-motor variant has 160 kW motors on each axle and a 77 kWh battery, offering a range of 354 miles. All range statistics are based on the infamously optimistic CLTC testing results. According to Carnewchina’s report on the Voyah Zhiyin SUV, The Zhiyin’s 800V architectural platform and 5C charging capacity allow it to recoup 320 miles of range in 15 minutes. Of course, real-life performance will be determined by the battery’s state, ambient temperature, and the appropriate DC charger. Still, the Zhiyin’s charging speed makes it an excellent choice for extended travel.

Pricing specifics are yet to be published, but it can’t be long because deliveries are slated to begin in China before the end of the year. The Zhiyin is believed to be an important part of Voyah’s ambitious “Let’s Voyah” plan, which seeks to increase the brand’s footprint to 60 countries across six continents, with annual sales reaching 500,000 units by 2030.
