With the release of the 2024 BYD Yuan Plus Honor Edition, the carmaker slashed the price of the vehicle by a whopping $2,200. So now thrifty buyers may get their hands on this little SUV for only $16,650. The Yuan Plus, which is called the Atto 3 in other countries, has been a major model for the company on a global scale. In addition to a price cut, the Yuan Plus now has a few new features and a slightly improved design.
A new “Black Knight” color option is available for the Byd Yuan Plus Honor Edition, which forgoes chrome elements in favor of a sleek, all-black appearance. The inside also receives a color makeover, with a darker, sportier palette replacing the previous blue and gray pattern. In terms of technology, you still have the newly upgraded heat pump system and the large 15.6-inch touchscreen with voice assistance.
2024 BYD Yuan Plus Honor Edition Specs
Consistent performance is maintained. One 150 kW and 310 Nm torque motor is installed on the front axle. You can get the Yuan Plus Honor Edition with either a 49.92 kWh or a bigger 60.48 kWh battery pack, with the former claiming a range of around 267 miles (CLTC) and the latter bringing that range closer to 317 miles (CLTC).
Price Ranges
Instead of a general sale, BYD meticulously customized the price cuts to each trim level. Customers have an even broader choice of prices to choose from today. Although the naming conventions for the models aren’t very creative, we do like the “it says on the tin” style. At $16,650, you may have the 430KM Leading, an attractive entry-level model, or, for $20,500, you can get the 510KM Excellent, which has a longer range and additional amenities. Offering a combination of features and pricing, the 510KM Transcend is priced at $19,420, while the 430KM Transcend is priced at $17,600 and the 510KM Leading at $18,000.
