2025 Volvo EX30 and EX90 electric SUVs US price shown

Volvo has confirmed US pricing for its anticipated EX30 and EX90 electric SUVs. Following successful European releases, these models bring a Scandinavian-inspired look, cutting-edge technology, and exceptional performance to the United States.

2025 Volvo EX30

The EX30 is Volvo’s smallest and most cheapest electric vehicle. It has already made a good impression in Europe, with approximately 100,000 units sold in 2023. This compact SUV is exclusively available in the United States with a 422-hp twin-motor configuration, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, making it the fastest-accelerating Volvo ever. The EX30 has a reasonable range of 253 miles and enables rapid charging up to 153 kW, which allows for a 10% to 80% charge in just over 25 minutes.

American purchasers can select between two trim levels: Plus and Ultra. Both come equipped with a performance-oriented twin-motor configuration. The Plus trim starts at $44,900, while the Ultra trim, which includes Park Pilot Assist, a 360-degree camera, and Pilot Assist, begins at $46,600.

2025 Volvo EX90

Volvo announces the EX90, its first three-row electric SUV, for buyers seeking additional capacity. Starting at $79,995, the EX90 features a luxurious and roomy cabin with up to 67.6 cubic feet of cargo space. The EX90 is Volvo’s largest electric SUV to date.

Volvo offers the EX90 in a number of trim levels, with both six- and seven-seat configurations available. The base Twin Motor Plus trim level begins at $79,995 for the seven-seater and $80,345 for the six-seater. The Ultra trim adds more equipment and costs $84,345 for the seven-seater and $84,845 for the six-seater.

The EX90 Performance trim level provides more power and starts at $84,995 for the seven-seater and $85,495 for the six-seater. The top-tier Performance Ultra trim blends performance and luxury, with prices beginning at $89,345 for the seven-seater and $89,845 for the six-seater.

The largest Volvo SUV has an estimated range of 310 miles thanks to its 111 kWh battery pack. While it supports fast charging, it takes somewhat longer to charge than the EX30, taking around 30 minutes for a 10% to 80% charge due to the larger battery size.

In addition to the EX30 and EX90, Volvo has revised its current electric SUV lineup. The XC40 Recharge has been renamed the EX40 to match the new naming convention. The 2025 EX40 starts at $52,500, with the Twin Motor AWD variant, which has an enhanced 82 kWh battery, priced at $54,250.
