The electric truck that has sparked debate since its debut is now available to lease directly from Tesla. The leasing option for the Cybertruck, which has been on the market for nearly a year, could make it more accessible to potential customers.
Tesla Cybertruck lease Options
Tesla offers lease choices for the Cybertruck, starting at $999 per month for the All-Wheel Drive model and $1,148 per month for the higher-performance Cyberbeast trim. Both lease options need a $7,500 down payment. If you want to buy the Cybertruck entirely, prices begin at $79,990 for the All-Wheel Drive and $99,990 for the Cyberbeast.
Financing options for purchases include 72-month terms and monthly installments of $1,280 and $1,609 for the All-Wheel Drive and Cyberbeast, respectively, with a $3,999 down payment.
The Cybertruck’s availability has progressively expanded in recent weeks as Tesla speeds up production. Tesla removed the reservation requirement for purchasing a Cybertruck in August, and any orders placed today are scheduled to ship in November or December. The Foundation Series package, which had increased the price of both models by $20,000, came to an end in October.
Tesla’s website no longer features the previously touted Rear-Wheel Drive Cybertruck, which had a starting price of $60,990 and was supposed to be available in 2025. There is no official announcement on when or if this version will become released.
Despite being made in the United States and priced below the $80,000 level for vehicles, the Cybertruck is not yet qualified for the $7,500 federal tax credit for personal purchases. This is due to changes in material sourcing rules in 2024. However, the tax credit is still applicable to commercial Cybertruck purchases and leases through an approved supplier.
