Zeekr 009 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) Launched in Singapore while it opens its first store in the city-state, which is also its 500th worldwide.
The Zeekr 009 is offered in Singapore in both 7- and 6-seater configurations, with starting prices of SGD 409,900 ($305,050) and SGD 419,900, respectively.
In China, the normal Zeekr 009 is available in three varieties, with costs starting at RMB 439,000 ($60,540), RMB 459,000, and RMB 469,000.
In addition to the normal version, Zeekr sells the Zeekr 009 Grand in China, which starts at RMB 789,000 yuan.
The vehicles are sold at significantly higher prices in Singapore than in China, owing to the high costs of car ownership, including the COE (Certificate of Entitlement).
The Zeekr 009 is Zeekr’s second model in Singapore, following the launch of the Zeekr X small SUV (sport utility vehicle) on August 1. The SUV is available in two models in Singapore, with the regular version starting at SGD 199,900 and the flagship version at SGD 214,900.
The Zeekr X is now available in China in four models, with beginning prices ranging from RMB149,000 to RMB179,000.
The company’s 500th global store debuted today in Singapore, and more will open this year, according to a statement.
Zeekr currently operates 447 outlets in China and 53 overseas. In September 2021, the company established its first store in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.
Zeekr is accelerating its entry into the global market and has entered more than 40 international mainstream markets including Sweden, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Mexico and Egypt, it said.
