Geely‘s commercial vehicle unit, Farizon, is preparing to introduce its electric van, the Farizon SV, in the United Kingdom. The Farizon SV will be available in three body types and two battery sizes, with a maximum range of 225 miles.
Farizon SV Details
The Farizon SV is based on a dedicated electric vehicle architecture, with the batteries installed under the cargo bay floor. This enables for a flat load floor and plenty of cargo room. The vehicle will be available in three body lengths and heights: small (196.46 inches long and 1.98 meters tall), medium (216.14 inches long and 2.18 meters tall), and large (234.25 inches long and 2.5 meters tall).
The Farizon SV has payload capabilities ranging from 2,425 lb to 2,866 lb and a cargo bay volume of {{6,900 L}} to {{13,000 L}}. This makes the Farizon SV a viable solution for a wide range of organizations, including delivery companies and tradespeople.
At launch, two battery options will be offered, with capacities ranging from 67 to 83 kWh. The latter is said to have a range of 225 miles between recharges. A third, 106-kWh battery pack is on its way to increase that figure.
Inside, the Farizon SV has three seats and two displays: a small dashboard-mounted device for instrumentation and a bigger center infotainment touchscreen. In China, the Farizon SV is also available as a minibus with seven and nine seats, as well as a camper van. It’s unclear whether these models will be available in the UK.
Prices for the Farizon SV have not yet been released, although it is believed to be less expensive than the E-Transit Custom ($59,228, excluding VAT) and the Vivaro Electric ($68,219, including VAT). The Farizon SV will be sold by Saudi Arabia’s Jameel Motors, with sales beginning in mid-2025.
