The Porsche Macan Electric is a premium compact electric SUV. It sits in the D segment and targets buyers who want performance with daily usability. The model rides on the PPE platform shared within the Volkswagen Group. It offers a five door SUV body with a low roofline and a sport focused chassis setup.
The Macan Electric uses a 100 kWh gross battery pack with about 95 kWh usable capacity. WLTP range reaches up to around 613 km depending on variant and wheel size. It supports 800 volt architecture and DC fast charging up to 270 kW. Under ideal conditions, 10 to 80 percent charging takes about 21 minutes. AC charging is rated at 11 kW as standard.
Pricing starts in the upper premium bracket, typically above many compact EV SUVs. It suits buyers who want sharp handling and strong acceleration without moving to a large SUV.
