Genesis has unveiled a refreshed version of its Electrified G80 at the Busan International Mobility Show, showcasing several significant upgrades that enhance its performance, luxury, and convenience features.

Extended Range with a New 94.5 kWh Battery

One of the most notable improvements to the Electrified G80 is its extended driving range. Equipped with a fourth-generation 94.5 kWh battery, the G80 now offers up to 295 miles of range, according to Korean testing standards. This substantial increase allows for longer drives between charges, making the Electrified G80 even more competitive in the electric luxury sedan market.

Enhanced Driving Dynamics

Genesis has also upgraded the driving dynamics of the Electrified G80 with several key enhancements. It now features improved front and rear suspension bushes, an Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS), and active rear-wheel steering (RWS) for better handling and stability.

Refined Exterior Design

The exterior design of the Electrified G80 has been subtly refined to align with Genesis’s luxury aesthetic. The signature Genesis crest grille now sports a gradient G-Matrix pattern and a larger air intake for a more dynamic appearance. The charging port has also been upgraded with lighting, electric opening and closing functions, and heating—an innovative touch that Genesis is known for.

Increased Interior Space and Comfort

The wheelbase of the Electrified G80 has been extended by 130 mm to 123.6 inches, resulting in more spacious rear legroom of 39.2 inches and headroom of 37.4 inches. This expansion enhances passenger comfort, particularly in the rear seats.

The interior of the Electrified G80 continues to focus on luxury and technology. It now features a 27-inch OLED infotainment and driver display that can be split into two or three screens for enhanced multitasking. The new 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system with Dolby ATMOS delivers an immersive audio experience, while a fingerprint authentication system and heated front seat console armrest add to the car’s convenience and security.

Other luxury features include a one-button easy rear door system and an electric door curtain, further elevating the vehicle’s premium appeal.
