Omega Seiki Mobility has launched the Vextra electric scooter in India at ₹99,900 ex-showroom. This marks the company’s entry into the personal electric scooter segment. The Vextra targets daily commuters and professional riders who need speed, range, and low running costs.
Omega Seiki Vextra Launch Details
The Vextra expands Omega Seiki Mobility’s portfolio beyond commercial EVs. The company positions this scooter as a fast-speed electric two-wheeler built for Indian city use. According to Omega, the focus stays on practicality, durability, and affordability.
Dr. Uday Narang, Founder and Chairman of Omega Seiki Mobility, stated that the Vextra aims to balance performance, range, and pricing while supporting wider access to clean mobility.

Manufacturing and Expansion Plans
Omega Seiki Mobility will manufacture the Vextra at its Faridabad facility. The plant supports an annual capacity of 25,000 units. Along with India sales, Omega plans to export the Vextra to African markets. The company also confirmed work on an electric motorcycle for international buyers.
OSM Vextra Battery, Motor, and Performance
The Omega Seiki Vextra uses a 3.45 kWh IP67-rated LMFP battery. Power comes from a 3 kW BLDC hub motor.
Key performance figures include:
- Claimed top speed of up to 70 kmph
- Real-world range of over 110 km per charge
- Gradeability of 12 degrees for flyovers and inclines
- Three ride modes: Eco, City, Sports
Charging from 0 to 80 percent takes around four hours, suited for overnight or workplace charging.

OSM Vextra Features and Technology
The Vextra includes a 3.5-inch colour LCD instrument cluster. It shows speed, battery status, and distance-to-empty in real time.

- Reverse parking assist
- Optional GSM connectivity
