Polestar 3 RWD version Unveiled with a more affordable Features

Polestar is introducing a new Long Range Single Motor model to its Polestar 3 portfolio, making it a more affordable option for its flagship electric SUV. It has the same premium features, technology, and design as the dual-motor model.

“With the Long Range Single Motor Polestar 3, we offer consumers a new entry point for our flagship electric SUV,” said Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar. “The rear-wheel-drive configuration fits with our performance-focused driving dynamics that make the car stand out in the luxury SUV sector.”

Polestar 3 RWD Design

Despite being the entry-level model, the Long Range Single Motor Polestar 3 delivers on performance and features. It has the same 111 kWh battery pack as the dual-motor version, which allows for quick charging from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes using a 250 kW DC fast charger.

The Long Range Single Motor Polestar 3 boasts 220 kW (299 horsepower) and 490 Nm of torque, allowing for a 7.8-second acceleration from 0 to 62 mph. The cheaper model also has the same sophisticated suspension system as the dual-motor variants, delivering a smooth and controlled ride.

Polestar’s 2025 lineup features enhanced customizing options. The manufacturer is allowing customers to personalize their Polestar 3 with a variety of options, including six exterior colors, five interior “rooms,” and four alloy wheel options, including a new 21-inch alloy wheel available as part of the Pro Pack. For customers looking for even more safety and convenience, Luminar’s Pilot Pack with LiDAR is now an option for the Long Range Single Motor Polestar 3.

Polestar 3 RWD Price

The new model is the most affordable in the collection, starting at $85,730 in Europe and boasting an outstanding range of up to 404 miles (WLTP).
