According to a statement released today, the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer unveiled the right-hand drive version of the Xpeng G6 SUV (sport utility vehicle) in Thailand at a ceremony on August 21, marking a significant milestone in its development into Southeast Asia.

The current car system language for the G6 accessible in Thailand is English, but Xpeng intends to offer a Thai version in the future.

Xpeng will offer a broad variety of services to clients by building a marketing and service network in Thailand’s main cities, the company announced.

The G6 will also be launched in Malaysia this month, and sales of the electric SUV will begin in regions such as Singapore and Australia next month, according to the firm.

Xpeng and Thai dealer organization Neo Mobility Asia formed a strategic relationship on March 26 during the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show.

Xpeng plans to expand into other right-hand drive markets in the second half of the year, including the United Kingdom, Australia, and Southeast Asian countries, according to the business.

Xpeng’s worldwide sales shops are projected to treble in the second half of the year, according to the company’s management.
