The Mercedes-Benz EQS, their top-of-the-line electric car, was just modified. The version coming out in 2025 is said to have a longer range, a slightly different look, and even more luxurious ease.

The car has a much longer range now that it has a new, bigger 118-kWh battery pack. The EPA numbers from Mercedes have not been made public yet, but the WLTP grade says the car can go 400 miles on a single charge. That’s a nice step up from the present form.
Mercedes also made changes to the EQS’s regenerative braking tech to see if they could get a few more miles out of it.
According to the official website, The 2025 EQS gets a more classic grille with gold bars instead of the current model’s a bit fussy one. The Mercedes star is now standing taller on the hood, which is a classic touch for a car that wants to be seen as pure luxury.
It’s all about spoiling the people in the back inside. The seats have a new look and feel, and people who buy the top-of-the-line “Pinnacle” trim will be able to lean back in their seat almost as much as a lounge chair. You can fold the front passenger seat forward, which makes the back seats like limousines in terms of space. To top it off, the back seats have warm neck and shoulder areas for extra comfort.
It makes sense that Mercedes isn’t changing the EQS’s impressive “Hyperscreen” display. In a big change, though, it will now come with every EQS trim.
A new standard heat pump warms the car more efficiently than older resistive heaters. This means that the battery doesn’t have to work as hard, which increases the range. A smart addition is added to 4MATIC models: a “Disconnect Unit” that separates the electric motor from the front axle when it’s not needed. This lowers the EQS’s energy use and makes its real-world range even wider.

The updated and longer-range 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS car should hit the market in late 2024. There is no price for this high-tech luxury boat yet, but don’t expect it to be cheap.
