2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E comes With boosts power, charging and range

Ford just released a major update for the Mustang Mach-E electric SUV. For the 2024 model year, performance is better, charging speeds are faster, and there is even an off-road-ready trim.

The 2024 Mach-E RWD model can go 250 miles on the normal battery and 320 miles with the extended battery. This is an increase of 20 miles over the previous model. The AWD GT trim can go 280 miles on a single charge, which is an extra 10 miles. The extra range comes from a better rear motor and other changes Ford still needs to fully explain that make the car more fuel-efficient.

According to Ford, It now only takes a little more than 32 minutes for the regular battery to charge from 10% to 80%. That’s almost 6 minutes less than before. It takes 36 minutes to do the same thing with the extended pack, which is 9 minutes less time. Ford has not yet said what DC power rates are needed to make those happen.

There are three different ways to set up the base Select trim. The price of a RWD standard battery is $39,995, an AWD standard battery is $43,495, and an AWD extended battery is $46,995. The next one is Premium, which comes in four different styles and costs between $43,995 and $49,995. The price of the GT is $53,995 plus $995 for the speed upgrade. The price of the Rally is $59,995. The new Mach-E doesn’t qualify for the $7,500 federal tax credit because of where its battery and some of its parts come from. The Tesla Model Y Performance costs about $41,000, so this makes it a bit of a loss. However, Ford is quick to point out that its car is better and well worth the extra money.
