The Song Ultra EV is the first B-segment all-electric SUV under BYD’s Dynasty series. It sits above the Song L DM-i and Song Pro DM-i in size and targets higher volume sales in the mid-size electric SUV category.

Dimensions and Positioning
The Song Ultra EV is a five-seat B-segment electric SUV.
Dimensions measure 4,850 mm long, 1,910 mm wide, and 1,670 mm high.
Wheelbase stretches to 2,840 mm.
Compared to the Song L DM-i and Song Pro DM-i, the wheelbase grows by 58 mm and 128 mm. This improves rear legroom and cabin space.
Design and Exterior Details
The exterior follows BYD Dynasty “Dragon Face Aesthetics.”

Driver Assistance and Sensors
An optional roof-mounted lidar supports BYD’s God’s Eye B system, also known as DiPilot 300.

It supports assisted driving in both city and highway conditions.

Launch Timeline and Pricing
BYD plans to launch the Song Ultra EV in Q3. Expected pricing ranges from 220,000 to 260,000 yuan, equal to about 32,000 to 38,000 USD.
BYD targets monthly sales above 20,000 units, according to the Dynasty series management.
