Chery has revealed the next phase of its premium brand, Exeed, at a major launch event. The company introduced four new electric vehicles aimed at boosting sales after a difficult year. From January to November, Exeed recorded 97,706 sales, a year-on-year drop of about 24 percent. The new lineup focuses on performance, long range, and advanced technology to restore momentum.
Exeed ES7 GT Highlights

The Exeed ES7 GT arrives as a shooting brake style electric car with a strong performance focus. It uses an extended-range electric system with three motors.

Exeed ES8 and Solid-State Battery Technology
The Exeed ES8 focuses on efficiency and next-generation battery tech. Its aerodynamic body reaches a drag coefficient of 0.22 Cd.

Chery also plans to begin testing its Rhino S all-solid-state battery next year.
Launch Timeline and Market Position
The first new Exeed electric model will reach the market in about 10 months. The remaining three vehicles will follow within the next 20 months. Chery aims to position Exeed as a luxury EV brand built around fast charging, advanced batteries, and smart driving technology. While online discussions have noted similarities between Exeed model names and those used by Nio, Chery is confident its technology and charging performance will set its electric cars apart.
