The Aito M5, M8, and M9 are three new electric SUVs from Huawei’s Aito brand that caused a stir at the IAA Mobility 2025 show in Munich. With their cutting-edge technology, adaptable drivetrains, and affordable prices, these models establish Aito as a major competitor in the rapidly expanding European EV market.

Aito: A Huawei and Seres Collaboration

Huawei and Chinese automaker Seres have partnered to create the Aito brand. In this collaboration, Huawei provides its knowledge of software, infotainment, and intelligent driving systems, while Seres produces the automobiles. HarmonyOS-powered infotainment, sophisticated driver-assistance systems, sensors, and electric motors are some of Huawei’s key technologies.

Aito automobiles are marketed in China via Huawei’s HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) network, which makes use of Huawei’s current retail locations to promote EVs in addition to laptops and smartphones.
