Chery Unveils Fulwin A9 Wagon at 2026 Beijing Auto Show With 700 km Range
Chery has unveiled the Fulwin A9 Wagon at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, adding an electric estate body to its growing A9 lineup. The wagon shares the same 800V platform as the Fulwin A9 sedan and targets the Chinese electric wagon segment currently occupied by models like the Nio ET5 Touring and Zeekr 7 GT.
Same Platform, Longer Rear
The Fulwin A9 Wagon keeps the sedan’s 2,900 mm wheelbase and core proportions. The key change is a stretched rear section for greater cargo capacity, with total length estimated at around 4.95 meters. No structural changes to the platform have been announced.

Pricing Expected Between 180,000 and 250,000 Yuan
Chery has not confirmed pricing. Based on the wagon’s positioning relative to competitors in the same segment, market expectations in China put it in the 180,000–250,000 yuan range, or roughly $25,000–$34,700 USD.
Production Decision Set for 2027
The Fulwin A9 Wagon is currently a concept. Chery says a production go-ahead depends on market feedback, with 2027 cited as a possible timeline if approved.

Dual-Motor AWD, 700 km CLTC Range
The wagon is expected to use the same dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup as the A9 sedan. Chery estimates a 0–100 km/h time of around 5 seconds — slightly off the sedan’s published 4.9 seconds. CLTC range is listed at 700 km.
The “Rhino E” battery pack carries an energy density of 195 Wh/kg, operates between -40°C and 60°C, and holds at least 90% capacity at -30°C.
800V Architecture With 15-Minute Fast Charge Window
The 800V system supports high-power charging. Chery estimates 30% to 80% charge in around 15 minutes under suitable conditions.
The chassis may include air suspension with continuously controlled damping, allowing ride height and stiffness adjustment by driving mode.

Lingxi Cockpit, Roof-Mounted LiDAR
Inside, the Fulwin A9 Wagon runs Chery’s Lingxi smart cockpit on a 3 nm automotive chip, with multi-screen interaction and voice control. A roof-mounted LiDAR unit supports highway and urban navigation assist.
Where It Sits in the Market
The A9 sedan made its first appearance at the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show. Earlier images showed a fastback-style design ahead of its planned launch. The wagon extends that design into cargo territory without changing the underlying platform.
If Chery moves to production, the Fulwin A9 Wagon will enter a small but growing electric estate segment in China — one that players like Nio and Zeekr have already established a foothold in.
