South Korean automaker Kia has unveiled the EV2 compact electric SUV at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show in Belgium. The EV2 becomes Kia’s sixth dedicated electric model and introduces a new entry point into the brand’s EV lineup.
The compact SUV targets urban buyers who want an electric vehicle with strong range, efficient charging, and a practical interior footprint. Kia confirms a driving range of up to 448 kilometres on the WLTP cycle, along with bidirectional charging support.

Kia describes the EV2 as a key step in expanding access to electric mobility. According to Kia president and CEO Ho Sung Song, the EV2 focuses on compact dimensions while delivering a spacious and emotionally engaging driving experience.

Compact Size With Spacious Interior Layout
Despite being the smallest electric SUV in Kia’s lineup, the EV2 prioritizes interior space. Kia designed the cabin around a concept it calls the Picnic Box, aiming to maximize flexibility and comfort.
