Porsche has confirmed the global debut of the all-electric Cayenne at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2026. The electric SUV sits on the Premium Platform Electric architecture and targets the high-performance luxury SUV segment.
Two Electric Variants and Performance Figures
Porsche will sell the Cayenne Electric in two trims. The standard Electric and the Turbo Electric. Both use a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system.
The base Cayenne Electric delivers 408 horsepower. Launch control raises output to 442 horsepower. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.8 seconds. Top speed reaches 230 km/h.

The Turbo Electric focuses on extreme performance. Standard output stands at 857 horsepower. Launch control increases power to 1,156 horsepower with 1,500 Nm of torque. Porsche claims a 0 to 100 km/h time of 2.5 seconds.
Both variants include a Push-to-Pass feature. It adds 176 horsepower for up to 10 seconds.
Battery, Platform, and Chassis Technology
The Cayenne Electric uses an 800-volt electrical system. Battery capacity is 113 kWh, with 108 kWh usable. Porsche has not released final range figures.
Standard chassis hardware includes dual-chamber air suspension, torque vectoring, a rear limited-slip differential, and rear-wheel steering.
High-performance trims receive 22-inch wheels and carbon ceramic brakes. Lower trims are expected to use smaller wheels and steel brake systems.
Exterior Design and Dimensions
The exterior adopts EV-specific design changes. The front fascia is closed, with active grille shutters in the lower bumper to manage airflow.
Overall dimensions increase compared to the combustion Cayenne. Length measures 4,985 mm. Width is 1,980 mm. Height is 1,674 mm. Wheelbase stretches to 3,023 mm, which is 130 mm longer than the gas-powered model.
Rear styling includes a roof spoiler, illuminated Porsche lettering across the light bar, and retractable aerodynamic elements.

Interior Displays and Driver Technology
Inside, the Cayenne Electric introduces new digital hardware. A 14.25-inch OLED instrument cluster sits behind the steering wheel.
The center dashboard uses a curved 12.25-inch touchscreen called the Flow Display. Buyers choose an optional 87-inch augmented reality head-up display and a 14.9-inch passenger-side screen.
Porsche retains a three-spoke sports steering wheel with physical drive mode selectors for direct control.
