Chery’s iCar V27 is now available for pre-orders in China. The Chery iCar V27 will reach dealerships in mid-January 2026, with an official launch planned for the first quarter of 2026. As the fourth model under the iCar brand, it features a 1.5T range-extender system, providing a CLTC pure electric range of 210 km and a total range of 1,200 km.

The iCar V27 is a mid-to-large SUV measuring 4909/1976/1855(1894) mm, with a 2910 mm wheelbase and seating for five. Buyers can select from five exterior colors: silver, yellow, beige, black, and blue.
Designed for off-road use, it comes with an external spare tire, a tow hook, and a side-opening tailgate.

Chery equips the iCar V27 with its Falcon 700 advanced driving assistance system. The system is powered by a Horizon Robotics J6P chip with 560 TOPS computing power and 27 sensors, the same configuration as the Exeed Exlantix MX (ET5). The sensors include a lidar, three millimeter-wave radars, 11 cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars.
Chery reports that the Falcon 700 system has a latency of just 160 milliseconds, 42% faster than a typical human reaction.

The iCar V27 uses a 105 kW (141 hp) 1.5T engine as a range-extender, paired with either one or dual electric motors depending on the trim. The combination delivers a total CLTC range of 1,200 km and a pure electric range of 210 km.
The dual-motor version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in five seconds with a peak output of 335 kW (449 hp), while the single-motor RWD version produces 185 kW (248 hp).
Interior and Features
Inside, the iCar V27 features a 15.4-inch 2.5K central control screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, a full LCD instrument cluster, and multiple physical controls on the center console.
Additional features include a 23-speaker sound system, active noise cancellation, and a segmented sunroof. Trunk capacity is 715L, expandable to 1,818L, with 50 storage compartments throughout the interior.
