RYDO, the electric scooter brand from Bangladesh-based conglomerate RFL, has officially debuted at the Dhaka International Trade Fair. The company is presenting its first lineup of electric scooters aimed at affordable and eco-friendly transport.
RYDO is showcasing nine electric scooter models at Pavilion 23 in the main building of the fair. The scooters feature modern styling and price points designed for mass-market adoption.
The main highlight at the RYDO stall is the Leaf electric scooter, priced at Tk 49,000 during the fair. The regular market price of the model stands at Tk 55,000, with a fair-exclusive discount of Tk 6,000 applied.

Due to its low price and compact design, the Leaf model has drawn strong attention from younger visitors attending the exhibition.
According to RYDO Head of Marketing Shariful Islam, the company is running a promotional campaign named RYDO DITF Fest throughout the event. Scooter prices range from Tk 55,000 to Tk 1.45 lakh. Buyers receive discounts of up to Tk 14,000, gift offers, surprise coupons, and access to pre-booking options.
Islam stated that all RYDO scooters hold BRTA approval and focus on daily usability. Key features include efficient electric motors, extended battery life, and a claimed running cost of 11 paisa per kilometre. The scooters target both city commuters and users in rural regions.
PRAN-RFL Marketing Director Kamruzzaman Kamal said growing demand for electric two-wheelers at both global and local levels influenced the decision to introduce the RYDO brand in Bangladesh.
