About two months after its official unveiling and just one week after confirming the start of mass production, Lucid has begun delivering the first units of its most powerful and luxurious model to customers.

Lucid celebrated the early deliveries at Sonoma Raceway in California, with professional driver Ben Collins taking one of the Lucid Air Sapphire sedans for a demonstration run. While the company didn’t specify exactly how many units have been produced so far, photos shared on X (formerly Twitter) show at least five customer cars already on the road.
For a model that many once considered vaporware, the moment marks a significant achievement. The Lucid Air Sapphire has officially transitioned from concept to reality.

The Lucid Air Sapphire stands as Lucid’s fastest and most advanced sedan to date. It comes equipped with three electric motors that together produce a staggering 1,234 horsepower. This powertrain launches the car from 0–62 mph in just 1.89 seconds, outperforming even the Tesla Model S Plaid.
Yet its strengths go beyond raw speed. The massive 118 kWh battery provides an impressive 427 miles of range, delivering an efficiency of 3.61 miles per kWh—exceptional for a vehicle with this level of performance.
