XPeng is expanding its SUV lineup. The brand currently sells the G6, G7, and G9. It has now revealed a new model called the XPeng GX. The company shared only a few images and limited feature details.
Design and Positioning
The first renders show a boxy luxury SUV profile. The styling strongly resembles the Range Rover. This signals a move toward a more premium and upright design language.

Size and Layout
The XPeng GX is a six seater SUV. It takes inspiration from the X9 MPV, focusing on cabin space and seating flexibility. This places it above the G9 in both size and positioning.
Platform and Powertrain Expectations
The GX sits on XPeng’s new SEPA 3.0 platform. This architecture supports advanced electronics and future powertrains. XPeng has not shared battery or motor specifications. Recent launches suggest two versions are likely. One full electric variant and one EREV variant.

Technology and Driving Features
XPeng confirms steer by wire technology. Rear wheel steering is also expected. These systems aim to improve low speed maneuverability and highway stability.
Flagship Role and Pricing Context
The GX will become XPeng’s top tier SUV. It will sit above the G9, which currently starts at RMB 248,800, around $36,000. Expect higher pricing and more advanced features once full details arrive.
