Nio has refreshed its core lineup in China. The updated ES6, EC6, ET5, and ET5 Touring gain design tweaks, more comfort features, and revised pricing to boost demand in a crowded EV market.
The biggest highlight is pricing. The 2026 ET5 now starts at 190,000 yuan ($27,650) under the BaaS battery rental model.
Nio sales show heavy reliance on ES8
Nio posted its first quarterly profit, driven by strong ES8 demand.
From January to February 2026:
• ES8 deliveries: 28,905 units
• Share of total sales: 80.4%
Other models lag behind:
• ES6: 2,160 units
• EC6: 806 units
• ET5: 929 units
• ET5 Touring: 3,001 units
This gap explains the update push across the lineup.
