BMW iX3 Long Wheelbase Revealed Ahead of Beijing Debut
BMW iX3 Long Wheelbase has been officially unveiled ahead of its global debut at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. Built for the Chinese market, this electric SUV will launch in the first half of 2026. Earlier sightings of a camouflaged prototype were reported by CarNewsChina.

Subtle Design Updates With Premium Lighting
The new iX3 Long Wheelbase keeps the core styling of the global model but adds refined details:
- “Digital Angel Wing” daytime running lights
- “3D Luminous Grille” for stronger road presence
- Nine exterior colour options
The extended wheelbase reaches 3005mm, up from 2895mm on the standard version. This improves rear legroom and comfort for passengers.
At the rear:
- L-shaped taillights remain
- New “Brilliance BMW” and “iX350L” badges confirm local production
- Rear camera integrated into the roof spoiler

Smart Cabin With AI and Huawei Integration
Inside, BMW focuses on software and connectivity.
Key upgrades include:
- Panoramic sunroof with integrated sunshade
- Custom AI system developed with Alibaba
- Integration of DeepSeek for in-car intelligence
- Support for HarmonyOS and Huawei HiCar
The SUV also features Momenta’s navigation-assisted driving system, optimized for both city and highway use in China.

800V Platform, 900km Range, 10-Minute Fast Charge
The iX3 Long Wheelbase runs on BMW’s latest eDrive system with high-voltage architecture.
