BYD has launched a new incentive for the BYD Linghui e7. Eligible buyers get up to 1 year of free flash charging. The offer targets ride-hailing drivers who need fast turnaround and low running costs. Some dealers extend the deal to 1.5 years, depending on location.
Free charging policy details
The offer applies to the flash-charging version of the Linghui e7. It starts from the delivery date. Drivers access charging through Linghui and Didi-operated fast charging stations. Dealer-specific offers differ by city, so buyers should confirm local terms before purchase.

Battery and charging tech
The Linghui e7 uses BYD’s second-generation Blade battery. This setup supports high-speed charging and daily high mileage use. The car fits ride-hailing fleets where downtime impacts earnings.
Charging cost breakdown
Charging costs vary by location and time:
• Home off-peak charging: about 0.35 yuan per kWh
• Public fast charging average: about 1.1 yuan per kWh
• Peak daytime fast charging: 1.5 to 1.8 yuan per kWh

At public fast charging rates, drivers covering 100,000 km spend around 16,000 yuan on electricity. The free charging incentive removes a large part of this cost in the first year.
Flash charging network expansion
BYD continues to expand its flash charging ecosystem across China. The Linghui e7 rollout supports this push, with availability already reaching 127 cities. The strategy focuses on urban fleets where fast charging improves vehicle uptime and revenue.
