The Cadillac Escalade IQ is a full-size luxury electric SUV produced by Cadillac. It serves as the flagship EV in Cadillac’s lineup and targets buyers looking for a premium three-row SUV with electric power. The Escalade IQ uses a dual-motor all-wheel drive system and rides on General Motors’ Ultium EV platform. Positioned in the high-end luxury SUV segment, it combines large interior space, advanced cabin technology, and long-distance driving capability. The model stands out as the first fully electric version of the Escalade, one of Cadillac’s best-known SUV nameplates.
The Cadillac Escalade IQ features a 205 kWh battery pack, making it one of the largest battery-electric SUVs currently available. Cadillac estimates up to 460 miles of EPA driving range depending on trim level and wheel setup. International WLTP figures remain unavailable in several regions, so EPA estimates remain the main benchmark for now. Charging support includes up to 19.2 kW AC home charging and DC fast charging speeds of up to 350 kW. Under ideal conditions, Cadillac says the Escalade IQ can recover around 100 miles of range in about 10 minutes using a compatible ultra-fast charger. A typical 10 to 80 percent DC fast charge session takes around 40 minutes.
Pricing for the Cadillac Escalade IQ starts at about $130,000 in the United States before optional packages and destination charges. Imported pricing in markets across Africa and the Middle East is expected to rise significantly after taxes and shipping costs. The Escalade IQ suits luxury SUV buyers who need three-row seating, long highway range, and premium interior comfort for family travel or executive transport. Within the Cadillac EV lineup, it sits above the Cadillac Lyriq and alongside the Cadillac Vistiq. Main rivals include the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV and the Range Rover Electric. The closest comparison model in terms of size, battery capacity, and pricing is the GMC Hummer EV SUV.
