United Chargers has unveiled the Grizzl-E Duo Connect 40A, a smart dual-head residential EV charging station built for homes with two electric vehicles. This new model updates the original Grizzl-E Duo with smarter controls, broader connector support, and a slimmer enclosure.
What Makes the Grizzl-E Duo Connect 40A Different
The Grizzl-E Duo Connect 40A allows two EVs to charge at the same time using one electrical circuit. An internal power-sharing system manages output automatically.
- Full power goes to one vehicle when only one port is in use
- Power splits evenly when two vehicles charge at once
The charger delivers up to 9.6 kW, rated at 40 amps on a 240-volt supply. United Chargers designed it as a plug-in unit with a NEMA 14-50 connector, intended for a 50-amp circuit. You can reduce output through built-in dip switches, and hardwiring remains an option for fixed installs.

Smart Features and Design Updates
This model adds Wi-Fi support and works with the Grizzl-E Connect app. You gain access to charging status, controls, and monitoring through your phone.
Physical changes include a thinner enclosure similar to the standard Grizzl-E wall charger. Two front-facing indicator lights show the status of each charging port. Buyers also get new cover styles in black or white, offered in Classic or Bear designs.
NACS Connector Support Added
A major upgrade involves connector options. You can now choose between:
- Two SAE J1772 connectors
- Two NACS connectors
- One SAE J1772 and one NACS
This option targets households that run a mix of Tesla and non-Tesla electric vehicles without adapters.

Pricing and Availability
United Chargers has opened pre-orders in both the United States and Canada.
- United States price: $899.99
- Canada price: $1,199.99 CAD
Shipping starts on February 10, 2026.
Grizzl-E Club Support in Canada
The Grizzl-E Duo Connect 40A will soon join the Grizzl-E Club in Canada. The program already includes over 2,500 members. Drivers charge without a membership fee and earn energy cashback at $0.03 CAD per kWh. United Chargers has signaled a possible increase in this rate.
80-Amp Grizzl-E Duo Connect Confirmed
United Chargers has also confirmed an 80-amp Grizzl-E Duo Connect variant. This higher-output version is expected within two months.
Key specs for the upcoming model include:
- Up to 19.2 kW total output
- Dual charging on a single high-capacity circuit
This version targets households with two high-power EVs that lack space or capacity for separate 19.2 kW circuits.
