Rivian R2 Coming Soon

March 7 marks a significant milestone in Rivian’s rapid growth. The company will unveil the R2, a smaller and more affordable electric SUV built on Rivian’s next-generation platform. While Rivian previously suggested a starting price around $40,000, rising production costs across the industry mean that estimate may shift.
With new battery trims, reduced entry pricing, and a more budget-friendly model on the way, Rivian is clearly positioning the Rivian R1S and R1T family—and its future lineup—to compete aggressively in the expanding EV market.
