The Nio Firefly hatchback has entered four more European markets as the brand pushes to increase its export volume. The first deliveries were made to owners in Denmark and Greece, while customers in Austria and Portugal can now place pre-orders for the vehicle.
Firefly is an entry-level model designed for younger buyers. Its first car launched in China in April 2025 with prices ranging from 119,800 to 125,800 yuan (16,960 – 17,810 USD). According to China EV DataTracker, Nio delivered 26,009 units from April to October 2025 in China. Previously, the Firefly was introduced in Norway, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

Nio Firefly Expands to More European Markets
Focusing on European expansion, Nio has started deliveries of the Nio Firefly in Denmark and Greece. In Denmark, the hatchback costs 209,900 – 229,900 DKK (32,680 – 35,800 USD), while in Greece, the price ranges from 31,900 to 33,900 EUR (37,100 – 39,420 USD), depending on the trim.
Meanwhile, the Firefly is now available for pre-orders in Austria and Portugal at 30,900 – 32,490 EUR (35,930 – 37,780 USD). Customers who pre-order can secure the entry-level version for 29,900 EUR (34,770 USD). For reference, the Firefly costs 279,900 – 299,900 NOK (27,500 – 29,470 USD) in Norway, and between 29,900 and 32,500 EUR (34,770 – 37,790 USD) in the Netherlands.

Norway’s lower price reflects the lack of EU import duty. Still, the Nio Firefly remains around 40% more expensive than in China. Elbilstatistikk reports 28 units delivered in Norway so far in 2025.
