Leapmotor B05 is an electric vehicle from Chinese maker Leapmotor. It is a compact hatchback aimed at urban and suburban drivers. The shape is practical with a short front end and liftback rear for cargo access.
The B05 uses a small battery pack with an estimated range around 300 km on a full charge under WLTP figures. Fast charging support lets you add range quickly on compatible DC points. AC charging at home works with standard Level 2 chargers.
Price sits in the lower tier of new EVs in its market. It fits buyers who want an affordable daily EV for city travel and short commutes. Other models from Leapmotor include the C11 SUV and the T03 city car. Alternatives include the BYD Dolphin and the GWM Ora Funky Cat. Against the BYD Dolphin, the B05 is smaller and simpler with lower cost.
