Xiaomi has confirmed that its flagship performance electric sedan, the SU7 Ultra, will debut in the racing simulation game Gran Turismo 7. The vehicle will go live in the game on January 29, 2026, at 14:00 Beijing time or 6:00 UTC.
Gran Turismo 7, developed by Polyphony Digital for PlayStation consoles, stands among the most respected racing simulators globally. The game includes over 500 licensed vehicles from established manufacturers such as Nissan, Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes AMG. Until this announcement, no Chinese-branded vehicle had appeared in the franchise.

The SU7 Ultra marks Xiaomi’s first entry into a global racing title. Xiaomi entered the automotive sector only recently, yet the SU7 Ultra has positioned itself as a performance-focused electric sedan built to showcase advanced Chinese EV engineering.
This move follows a partnership revealed in June 2025 between Xiaomi and Polyphony Digital. Both companies confirmed plans at the time to integrate the SU7 Ultra into the Gran Turismo ecosystem.
The in-game addition reflects growing international recognition of Chinese electric vehicle technology. The SU7 Ultra features a multi-motor electric drivetrain and achieves 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in under two seconds. Players will experience these performance traits directly through the simulation.

Xiaomi’s inclusion may lower barriers for other Chinese brands. BYD’s premium performance brand Yangwang confirmed in October that the Yangwang U9 Xtreme is scheduled to appear in Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation 5. The U9 Xtreme completed a Nürburgring Nordschleife lap in 6:59.157 and recorded a top speed of 496.22 km/h at Germany’s ATP proving ground.
