BYD continues to expand its brand structure in China. New MIIT filings confirm the launch of Linghui, a fresh sub-brand written in Chinese as 领汇. The registration includes a dedicated logo and four models. Linghui e5, Linghui e7, Linghui e9, and Linghui M9.
The Linghui lineup reuses existing BYD architectures. Each model adopts familiar proportions and design cues while carrying distinct branding. This approach reduces development risk and speeds up market entry.
Linghui e9
The Linghui e9 is based on the BYD Han electric sedan. It uses the same family design language. Dimensions measure 4995 mm in length, 1940 mm in width, and 1495 mm in height. Wheelbase stands at 2920 mm.
Two electric motor options appear in the filing. Output figures reach 135 kW or 150 kW, equal to 181 hp and 201 hp.

Linghui e7
The Linghui e7 also follows BYD’s sedan design theme. It measures 4780 mm long, 1900 mm wide, and 1515 mm tall. Wheelbase is 2820 mm.
Motor choices include 100 kW and 130 kW configurations. This places the e7 below the e9 in size and output.

Linghui e5
The Linghui e5 is derived from the BYD Qin Plus EV. Dimensions come in at 4805 mm length, 1837 mm width, and 1530 mm height. Wheelbase measures 2718 mm.
It uses a single electric motor rated at 100 kW or 134 hp.

Linghui M9
The Linghui M9 is the largest model in the initial range. It is based on the BYD Xia platform with revised details. Length reaches 5200 mm. Width is 1970 mm. Height is 1805 mm. Wheelbase measures 3045 mm.
Unlike the other Linghui vehicles, the M9 uses a plug-in hybrid system. It pairs a 1.5-liter engine with an electric motor. Combined electric output reaches 200 kW or 268 hp.
