Honda, which had previously promised an electric N-Van by 2022, has now revealed more details about the so-called Honda N-Van e, including the fact that the cargo van will be on display at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 in late October.
Honda N-Van e Features
A deliveryman gives his thoughts on the N-Van e’s interior, performance, and other attributes, and two press releases about the van, focusing on the van’s usefulness and functionality, can be found on Honda’s official website. Although Honda hasn’t disclosed the WLTC’s battery size, it has a range of up to 130 miles, making it suitable for all but the longest commutes. After all, that is the reason for having a car.
DC fast charging is available up to 50 kW, which can get the cell from 10 to 80% charged in just 30 minutes, whereas a 6 kW AC outlet will take about 5 hours to fully charge the cell. The N-Van e: has a special plug that can deliver up to 1.5 kW of electricity.
It uses the same platform as the regular ICE model and looks and feels very similar on the inside and out. The current one is unchanged.
Two passenger-focused variants and a cargo-focused variant with only two seats are offered for the N-Van e. This model has the largest cargo capacity, at 350 kg, compared to the other two four-seater variants.
Honda N-Van e Price
Honda has stated that it plans to aim for a price range of about $6,700, though exact pricing is currently unknown. The premiere is scheduled for 2019.
