The Nio EL8 is a three-row electric SUV from NIO. It fits into the full-size SUV segment and has six seats as standard. The body is a large SUV designed for families and group use, with all-wheel drive powertrain only.
Battery options include a standard pack around 73.5 kWh usable and a long-range pack about 90 kWh usable. On the larger battery, official WLTP range reaches about 510 km, though real range varies with conditions. Charging is supported with DC fast charging up to roughly 185 kW on the bigger battery and about 140 kW on the smaller, typically allowing 10 to 80 percent in around 30 to 40 minutes.
Pricing in Europe starts from around €82,900 without battery to about €108,900 with battery on higher trims. The EL8 suits buyers who need a full-size electric SUV with six-seat layout and want strong performance and space. From NIO’s lineup, consider the smaller Nio EL7 or the Nio ET5 sedan. Alternatives include the Tesla Model X or the Mercedes‑Benz EQS SUV. Compared with the Tesla Model X the EL8 gives a different approach with strong focus on seating and battery swap ecosystem in select regions.
