Polestar 4 is a fully electric D segment SUV coupe. It sits between a traditional midsize SUV and a fastback crossover. The model removes the rear window and uses a rear facing camera feed instead. It targets buyers who want coupe styling with SUV space.
Polestar 4 offers two battery and motor setups. The Long Range Single Motor uses a 100 kWh battery with up to about 600 km WLTP range. The Long Range Dual Motor uses the same battery with up to about 560 km WLTP. DC fast charging peaks at 200 kW, allowing a 10 to 80 percent charge in around 30 minutes under ideal conditions. AC charging supports up to 22 kW three phase.
Pricing places it above Polestar 2 and below Polestar 3 in most markets. It suits drivers who want strong performance and longer range without moving to a larger SUV. Alternatives include Tesla Model Y and BMW iX3. Compared with the Tesla Model Y, Polestar 4 offers more rear seat space and higher peak charging power, while Model Y offers access to Tesla Supercharger network integration.
